The McNaMarr project
Multi award winning blues artists John McNamara and Andrea Marr had their own careers for many years and became the McNaMarr project in 2018. They immediately won the blues performer of the year award and went to Memphis to represent Australia. Johnny Phillips, nephew of legendary Sam Phillips signed them while they were in Memphis and their first album ‘Holla & Moan’ was recorded by blues and soul royalty at Royal Studios in Memphis, produced by Lester Snell and recorded by Boo Mitchell. That album and their 2022 run with me album both hit #1 on blues and soul charts in Australia and the US.
