The Stomp’n Ramblers
The Stomp’n Ramblers are Owen Mancell on slide guitar, stomp box and vocals, and Ryan Stone on harmonica. With a sound steeped in the raw spirit of Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, the duo draw influence from The Backsliders, RL Burnside and Muddy Waters, blending vintage blues with contemporary storytelling.
Owen’s soulful vocals bring a deep emotional edge to their music, carrying the weight and warmth of old-school blues, while Ryan’s electrifying harmonica adds grit, energy and a distinctive edge to their sound. Their music is raw & honest. Together, they create a stripped-back yet powerful sound that feels both timeless and uniquely their own.
The Stomp’n Ramblers have supported acclaimed acts including Sons of the East, 19-Twenty, Nathan Cavaleri and Dallas Frasca.
