Corey Legge and The Legacy
Corey Legge & The Legacy are a blues-rock power trio based in Wollongong NSW.
Having previously played both solo and in ‘The Swamp Stompers’, Corey Legge has now
launched his brand-new blues-rock project with a bang, with Adrian ‘Red’ Herbert on
drums and Matt Crawford on bass. If Free, AC/DC and Marcus King had a love-child, this
guitar riff-heavy band would be it.
Corey Legge & The Legacy released their highly anticipated debut album ‘Legge to Stand
On’ in September 2026, and have performed at a number of Australia’s best blues
festivals including Mitchell Creek Rock n Blues Festival (QLD), Agnes Blues, Roots &
Rock Festival (QLD), Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival (VIC), and now Thredbo
Blues Festival (NSW). Corey Legge also toured with the prestigious Blues Guitar
Roadshow throughout NSW and the ACT in 2026, performing alongside US blues
sensation Ana Popovic. Corey Legge & The Legacy were recently finalists in the Sydney
Blues Challenge and were semi-finalists in the International Songwriting Competition
with their song ‘Howlin’ at the Moon’ in the blues category.
