Greg Nunan & The General Jacksons
Greg Nunan & The General Jacksons are riding a wave of momentum that shows no signs of slowing. In May 2026, they took home Album of the Year and Single of the Year at the Sydney Blues Awards, a crowning achievement following their 7 nominations in 2024, including Artist of the Year, Favourite Blues Band, and Favourite Guitarist.
Their third album ‘Reds to Blues’ (December 2025), spent four months in the top ten on the Australian Blues and Roots Airplay Charts (ABARAC), peaking at number 5. It’s a testament to Nunan’s masterful guitar work, powerful vocals, and songwriting honed through years of extensive touring, from SXSW in Austin to sharing stages with Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan and performing for the Queen of Thailand.
Fresh from four performances at the iconic Woodford Folk Festival, GN&GJ deliver high-energy live shows that have earned them coveted slots at Mitchell Creek Rock n Blues, Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival, and Manly Jazz. They blend stinging blues with rootsy rock in a way that’s authentically their own, commanding stages from the first note.
